Overview
The Surplus Lines Information Portal (SLIP) is a web based filing application provided by the Florida Surplus Lines Service Office
(FSLSO) that serves as FSLSO's premier filling system for Surplus Lines Agents, Insurers, and Independently Procured Coverage (IPC).
The SLIP application provides users the ability to view previously submitted data, edit policy information, and back out transaction

files, access insurer financials, and track news and events.
SLIP can be accessed by visiting the Home Page and selecting the SLIP link from the front page. SLIP can also be accessed
directly by entering https://slip.fslso.com in the address bar of your Web browser.

Policy Management
SLIP serves as the entry point for the submission of surplus lines policy information to to FSLSO. The structure of
SLIP allows for a policy record to have multiple transaction records associated with it over the life cycle of the policy.
This section covers the main policy management functions of the system including adding and updating policy information.

User Management
When a new agent joins our office, FSLSO creates one SLIP account tied to that agents license number. The owner of this account can then
create and manage additional SLIP user accounts to allow others to enter and review information on behalf of the agent.
