The Florida Surplus Lines Market: A Five Year Outlook on Regulatory and Disciplinary Trends
FSLSO introduces its brand new 2013 continuing education course! This three-hour course is focused on educating agents on the importance of compliance through the identification of common agent violations of the Insurance Code as found in the Florida Statutes and Florida Administrative Code. This “lessons learned” approach emphasizes agent compliance with the laws through an analysis of examples and cases studies as seen through disciplinary actions taken by the Department of Financial Services and the Florida Surplus Lines Service Office.
Florida-licensed surplus lines agents attend for FREE. All others pay a nominal fee of $60. This course has been approved by the Department of Financial Services for 3 hours of intermediate property and casualty credit. Course ID: 83393
All classes begin at 9:00am and conclude at 12:00pm.
