SLIP Enhancements

Recently, FSLSO has released several new enhancements to its Surplus Lines Information Portal (SLIP). Please note the following changes:

1) You are no longer required to enter information relative to the General Lines Agent.

2) Also, you will notice a green bar that highlights the particular policy, coverage code, or transaction that you have selected.

3) A Transaction Received Date has also been added to the transaction page which provides the date and time that a transaction was received.

4) You now have the ability to enter transactions that are five years past the effective date.

We hope that these enhancements will better aid you in your use of SLIP. Should you need more information, please call our office at (800) 562-4496.

FSLSO Sends Annual Customer Satisfaction Survey

FSLSO is currently conducting its annual customer satisfaction survey. This survey was sent out to five differing user groups including surplus lines agents, submission contacts, insurer contacts, accounting contacts, and IPC filers.* The survey should take no more than 15 to 20 minutes and will assist FSLSO as they prepare for their strategic planning for 2008.

If you did not receive an email containing the survey, you should a) check your spam folder for the survey email or b) contact FSLSO via email at info@fslso.com

FSLSO thanks you for your assistance and time in completing this annual survey.

*Please note that if the surplus lines agent is also the submission and/or accounting contact, please only complete the surplus lines agent survey. If your office has separate staff handling these functions, each is encouraged to complete their own survey.
