Last Chance to Register for Tallahassee

The FSLSO will be hosting a four-hour C.E. course, "Marketplace Preparation for the Surplus Lines Agent," in the Tallahassee area on September 29, from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Leon County Training and Community Center, 918 Railroad Ave. "Marketplace Preparation for the Surplus Lines Agent" includes segments on the Florida Surplus Lines Service Office and its available services/products; interactive submission software training; avoiding the common pitfalls of submission errors to prevent Transactions-in-Question; and catastrophe preparation. This course has been approved by the Department of Financial Services as four-hours of property and casualty credit; course offering ID# 51419. 

There is no charge for licensed surplus lines agents, and attending surplus lines agents may bring up to two members of their office staff at no charge as well. All others must pay a $60 registration fee. At-the-door registrations will be accepted only on a "space available" basis and with payment by check or money order, so please register as early as possible - advanced registration is highly recommended this class is filling up quickly. MONTH-END SHUTDOWN
FSLSO will stop importing files Friday, September 30, 2005, at 5:00 p.m. to begin month-end billing. Submissions will still be accepted via FTP, but they will not be imported and billed for this month's accounting period if not received by that time.
