FSLSO congratulates the appointment of Melanie Hosford of Specialty Insurance Services, Inc., Jacksonville, FL., to the Florida Surplus Lines Association's Board of Directors, as announced by FSLA President, Tom Enright.

FSLA will be making a second appointment in the near future.  The FSLA by-laws stipulated the recent changes in the board as a result of agency mergers. 

Again, congratulations to Ms. Hosford; we wish her well in representing the FSLA.

Fourth Quarter 2004 Quarterly Report Affidavits were due January 31, 2005.  If you have not mailed your 4th Quarter Report Affidavit, please note that you can be fined up to $50 per day, beginning the day after the affidavit is due until the day it is received by the FSLSO.  An updated affidavit can be downloaded from the FSLSO website at:
