FSLSO will stop importing files on Friday, April 29, 2005 at 4:00 p.m. to begin month-end billing. Submissions will still be accepted via FTP, but they will not be imported and billed for this month's accounting period if not received by that time.

LAST CHANCE TO REGISTER NOW FOR UPCOMING C.E.

FSLSO will be hosting a four-hour C.E. course, "Marketplace Preparation for the Surplus Lines Agent," in the West Palm Beach area on April 21st, from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. "Marketplace Preparation for the Surplus Lines Agent" includes segments on the Florida Surplus Lines Service Office and its available services/products; interactive submission software training; avoiding the common pitfalls of submission errors to prevent Transactions-in-Question; and catastrophe preparation. This course has been approved by the Department of Financial Services as four-hours of property and casualty credit; course ID# 51419.

There is no charge for licensed surplus lines agents and all others pay a $60 registration fee. At-the-door registrations will be accepted only on a "space available" basis and with payment by check or money order, so please register as early as possible - advanced registration is highly recommended as this class is filling up quickly.
