Essex v. Zota Information
The following information includes documents related to the Essex v. Zota Court Case.
The documents are listed in chronological order. The FSLSO filed an Amicus Brief in December of 2006.
There was no court ruling until June of 2008. Since the June court ruling, there have been other court cases,
such as the CNL Hotels & Resorts, Inc. v. Twin City Fire Insurance Company.
In August of 2008, the Office of Insurance Regulation (OIR), followed by FSLSO in September,
filed affidavits relative to these ensuing court cases. In addition, in September of 2008,
the OIR also filed an Amicus Brief.
