My internship at FSLSO was a rewarding experience that strengthened my understanding of the insurance industry. The team was welcoming and supportive, allowing me to build confidence, ask questions, and develop key professional skills.

I gained experience working with spreadsheets, which improved my Excel and data organization skills, and handling phone inquiries, which strengthened my communication, professionalism, and attention to detail. I also gained valuable exposure to the compliance side of the industry, reinforcing the importance of accuracy and following regulations.

A key part of the experience was completing the 60-hour Surplus Lines Pre-Licensing Course, which deepened my understanding of the industry and allowed me to apply what I learned directly in the workplace.

Overall, this internship confirmed my interest in the insurance field and helped me build confidence, skills, and direction for my future career.
