My internship experience at FSLSO was incredibly rewarding. I gained valuable insight into the E&S market, worked alongside knowledgeable professionals, and felt supported by the team. This opportunity expanded my industry knowledge and helped me grow professionally.
I was able to gain extensive knowledge about the Excess & Surplus lines market and how the states regulate and oversee it. I enjoyed completing the 60-hour surplus lines pre-licensing course, as it provided me with a strong foundation of knowledge that helped me throughout my internship.
The company culture at FSLSO is inclusive, understanding, and supportive. Everyone was always willing to help and share their knowledge. I highly encourage other RMI students to apply for this internship and meet the FSLSO staff at any FSU events where they are present. It’s a great way to learn more about the organization and the industry.
