PLEASE NOTE: Non-resident surplus lines agents may not be required to take the Florida 60-Hour Surplus Lines Pre-Licensing Course in order to obtain a Florida non-resident surplus lines license.
Per Florida Statute 626.927 (6), pre-licensing coursework for members or veterans of the United States Armed Forces or their spouses of such a member or veteran is not required. Please contact the Florida Department of Financial Services (DFS) for instructions on documentation.
