QBE Specialty Insurance Company (NAIC # 11515) is now in compliance with Florida Statute 626.931, which governs insurer reporting requirements.

House Bill 1549 has been signed into law, officially eliminating the "diligent effort" requirement for agents placing surplus lines insurance in Florida. The bill also adds additional language to the disclosure form that must be signed by the insured before placement with a surplus lines carrier. The disclosure form will now include the language, “surplus lines insurers' policy rates and forms are not approved by any Florida regulatory agency.”

CNA Insurance Company Limited (NAIC #AA1121106) is now in compliance with Florida Statute 626.931, which governs insurer reporting requirements. As such, the company’s referral to the Florida Office of Insurance Regulation (OIR) for removal from the state’s eligibility list has been rescinded and CNA Insurance Company Limited will remain active in SLIP+.
